Our holiday club dates offer a fun taster of Forest School!
Regular attendees will be eagerly anticipating the return to the woods for a new season of fun, adventure and exploring.
We will continue to be based in the stunning setting of Darwell Woods, inspiring children to interact with nature, become passionate about the outdoors, explore their creativity, learn new skills, cook on an open fire, play games to help bond as a group and support each other throughout the day… and most importantly, have fun!
These sessions are very popular with boys and girls, are great for getting children active and outdoors, developing co-operation, creativity, resourcefulness and resilience, among many other positive outcomes.
Numbers are limited to 14 places, and there will always be a minimum ratio of 1 adult to every 7 children. We only take children aged 5+. Adult volunteer support is always welcome, but please contact me first if you intend to spend the day with us.
Because of the limited numbers and popularity, to avoid disappointment please book in advance.
Payment must be received prior to commencement of the session.
Book now to avoid disappointment!
- All sessions now run from 10.00-15.00
Get in touch to sign up to the mailing list for notification of future dates.
N.B. May 2017- Thank you for all of your enquiries. This summer I will be going on maternity leave, so we will have to wait until 2018 for a new batch of holiday club dates! Sorry to disappoint. Have a great summer and see you next year.
The Darwell Wood site is owned and managed by the Forestry Commission. We would like to share their learning message:
Our trees and forests are essential for people, wildlife and the green economy. The unique way the Forestry Commission manages them on behalf of the nation will ensure they remain so for the future.
